Moby Dick In the novel Moby Dick, Ishmael is spared while the remainder of the Pequod's team pass on adrift. There is a particular point in the subject of the novel where each team part fixed their destiny. These topical reasons bode well toward the finish of the novel. The Pequod's group bites the dust in light of the promise they made to Ahab. They put their lives at risk to catch the White Whale.
